For a long time we have been in the business of trying to provide the best scale duplication of real uniforms and equipment in 1/6 scale for the collector of military miniature figures.

Our flagship site is Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club GIjOEs  - problably the ONLY site dedicated to U.S.Navy Uniforms in 1/6 scale in the world. We followed up with Easy Company to provide insignia and accessories for the other U.S. military services.  It expanded from strictly WWII to cover the broad period of Civil War to Iraqi War at the request of our fellow collectors for more and more uniforms and "stuff".  In 2004 we opened up KHAKI DRILL AND FELD GRAU to serve the needs of fellow collectors who have an interest in British, Commonwealth and Axis accessory items and insignia that are not provided by other customizers of 1/6 scale items.  Now in 2008 we at  The Parachute Rigger Shop  provide these unique, often field-made expedient items that so helped win the wars in which we reluctantly so often found ourselves involved.  This was first going to be only a WWII U.S. site but in my research I found the British Rigger site and then the Quartermaster History Site so although we are starting in World War II we will slowly expand into those other conflicts that were supported by the "riggers" throughout the 20th and into the 21st century.
